Martin Ladbrook

Martin Ladbrook
Founded the company at the start of the millennium having worked with Voluntary Sector Organisations since 1994. Qualified and registered as an Independent Financial Adviser as well as an Independent Insurance Broker, Martin devotes 99% of his time to the Voluntary Sector.

Having developed the company with Marie Hallowes, over the years Martin now spends more time giving talks and seminars to voluntary groups both small and large, who wish to understand the types of insurance cover available as well as whether or not they are needed. Martin says "Specialist independent advice should be available to all organisations, be wary of information received directly from insurance companies."

Marie Hallowes

Marie Hallowes
Marie joined Martin Ladbrook on 7 February 2000, and assisted him with the start-up of the company, creating many of the systems and processes used by the company on a day-to-day basis.

She has played a key role in the development of the company and in its growth over the years. Starting as Assistant to Martin, Marie has progressed to Office & Broking Manager, to then go on to become Director of the company in 2009. Marie achieved her Cert CII qualification in 2007.

Shelley Bacon

Shelley Bacon
Joined Ladbrook in November 2004 as Insurance Admin Assistant to Marie, but has gone to become Account Handler dealing with her own individual clients, providing them with a professional but friendly point of contact for all their insurance needs.

Shelley currently works on a part-time basis since becoming a mum for the first time in 2007. Shelley achieved her Cert CII qualification in 2007.

Sally Adams

Sally Adams
Sally joined Ladbrook in June 2010, having had previous insurance experience. Sally has very quickly become a valuable team member, acting as an Account Handler, handling her own clients. Sally is currently studying towards her Cert CII.

Leila Baroudi

Leila Baroudi
Leila joined as a part-time Receptionist in June 2010 but has worked full time from day one. Apart from being a pleasant and welcoming reception to all clients and providing general admin support to the team, Leila has also more recently taken on a lot of our Accounts work.

Charlotte Byrne

Charlotte Byrne
Charlotte joined Ladbrook in March 2009, initially as Receptionist but now demonstrates her considerable talent in general admin support, part-time Reception and as a reliable personal assistant to Martin Ladbrook as Pensions Administrator.
